DAY 83: SHOPPING FOR THE BIG DAY
I knew this day would come. I had to pick up a few non-sandwich related items from the grocery store. I figured while I was there I should see what the local C-town had to offer by way of peanut butters.
I think I kept it pretty cool and casual until I saw the bread aisle directly across the way. I bet they do that on purpose.

i simply love how you model each kind of peanut butter and which kinds of bread to use and not to use- i liked it when you turned around and held the peanut butter above your butt for a few seconds- it was soo hot and dreammy. maybe get pants that fit so your bootay doesnt look so flat?!? * just some food for thought! STAY STRONG MENG!
You have so many decisions to make in your less than ninety day countdown. Will you spread crunchy PB on that bread? Do you want white or wheat? Crusts or no crusts. Horizontal or verticle cut treat? Not to mention all the jellys there are to choose from. I do not envy you a bit, this boggles the mind if you allow your sanity to run wild from you. Keep strong, that perfect sandwich will come to you.
I started this blog because 90 days from now I'm going to eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I am not depressed. I just figure that in 90 days around lunch time I'll be hungry, and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich might be the perfect thing to sate my appetite. It's as good a guess as any, I think. Truth is, I don't have very good reasons - if by good you mean I've been diagnosed with a crushed nut deficiency or some other kind of cancer - but I want to document the 90 days leading up to the lunch because I feel that these days are important, that they might help me figure out why I want to eat this sandwich. I don't know, maybe I'm fed up being part of a world where peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are primarily children's fare. Maybe I'm just sick of savory snacks. Email me and comment if you like. I'm certainly interested in product suggestions for the big day, but whatever you do don't try to stop me. I can't be stopped.

I can't believe someone is glamorizing PBJ so much. The media is at fault for what you're planning to do.
